Great Moments in Opera

Co-Opera presents a semi-staged performance that draws from the most popular operas and stage musicals in the repertoire. The selection of favourite arias and ensembles from the best traditions of music include excerpts from masterpieces such as The Marriage of Figaro, La Boheme, La Traviata, Madam Butterfly, Tosca, West Side Story and Le Miserable.

With the rich history of Co-Opera bringing popular music to Australian audiences, we are able to vary the program to suit individual requirements and provide a captivating program.

Great Moments in Opera involves the finest singers from Co-Opera's main stage productions and delights in being able to accommodate frequent requests such as Vesti la giubba from Pagliacci and the numerous thrilling musical moments from Bizet's Carmen .
