| Ian
Hardy studied Economics at Melbourne University and, in parallel,
undertook organ and harpsichord studies, eventually giving solo
performances around Australia and becoming an ABC recording
artist. This led to a 17-year career as a recording producer,
manager of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and head of ABC
Classic FM. Ian has also been Chief Executive of Helping Hand
Aged Care in South Australia since 1990. |

| Guila
Tiver |
|
|
| Mezzosoprano,
Guila Tiver, was engaged as a principal singer at the Basel
Opera and spent the next 14 years singing professionally in
Europe. Guila has performed frequently for the ABC, State Opera
of SA, Victorian State Opera, was a soloist in several Adelaide
Festivals of Arts, Barossa Music Festivals and was twice invited
to perform Berlioz's Les Nuits d'Ete in Italy. Guila toured
Australia in the title role of Bizet's Carmen for Co-Opera and
since 1985 has been on the vocal staff of the Elder Conservatorium
of Music, where she is currently Head of Vocal Studies. |

McWaters and Andrew Turner |

Joanna
McWaters and Andrew Turner met at university and have been partners
in life and music ever since. They studied together, both in
Adelaide and Luxembourg, and performed together in Europe. Back
in Australia, they perform together regularly with Co-Opera,
State Opera, on the concert stage with many of Adelaide's choirs
and at various functions and events. They first performed with
Co-Opera in the mid '90s, and have been with the company in
different ways ever since. In recent years, they have produced,
written, directed and performed in a number of Co-Opera's Restaurant
Series concerts including An Operatic Tour of Europe, The Pirates
of Penzance, Bellissimo and The Barber of Seville. The next
offering will be Around the World in 80 Operas, with a return
season of Pirates. The Barber of Seville will be the schools
show. Joanna will also perform the role of Mimi in Co-Opera's
new production of La Boheme. Andrew and Joanna are married and
enjoy the challenge of juggling their performing careers with
raising three young children. |
